That's not a complete description of metagaming. Metagaming can also involve distributing in-character information via out-of-character means.

If I say in OOC "lol the hitman just took a hit on the mayor" It's literally impossible for the police to not metagame this, so the person who distributed the information is really at fault.

It's also important to keep in mind that meta gaming also involves the act of using a money printers sounds or seeing weed through walls to get a warrant.

Actually technically money printer sounds aren't metagaming but people misuse the term. While it's not allowed, it would be something your character has as information.

I think Morgan was talking about people hearing a beeping sound and going like "lol, that's a money printer". The sound could be anything, it is using OOC information to know that only a money printer can produce this sound on the server.

It's not necessarily OOC information, anyone who has used a money printer would be able to recognize the sound of a money printer, especially when they all come from the same supplier and you would understand that. It's about being able to correctly roleplay the information you are given that seperates someone who is like "lol metagame" from people who actually know participate in role-play. No one now-a-days seems to actually understand what roleplaying is. You have to think in terms of your character and their situation, not just what's happening at the moment.
