So a BUNCH of different websites came together today to fight against the FCC, basically abolishing 'Net Neutrality'.

Now, not many people know what net neutrality is.
Until sometime last year, I didn't know what it was either.

Net Neutrality in my opinion, is something that's very important.
It prevents your ISP(Internet Service Provider) from blocking sites/making it harder to reach certain websites for any reason,
thus making the net a neutral playground. All websites are treated equally.

The FCC is proposing to undo this, for.. Reasons.
If anyone can find their official statement on this, it'd be appreciated.

Still confused? CGP Grey has you covered.

I mean, who would really be for taking away the Net Neutrality ? because all the people who are for it is doing, is taking their Fast, Free Internet and trading it in for Slow, Restricted internet, unless you're an ISP such as AT&T and Comcast and others, then I can understand why, because you're more for that money and stuff than you are for the internet freedom...

So as a person who doesn't work for nor own an ISP, I am against it, I pay enough for the internet I got now which is shit enough, which is also from AT&T as well, and if this Net Neutrality get's taken away and ISP begins taking over the internet then, I guess I'll just stop paying for internet and go live up in a Mountain, or just live like the people back in the days before Internet was a thing, and all you had was TV... either works with me... I remember when I was little and my family never owned internet, I survived, my family survived..

Net Neutrality ensures equality for all sites. That's pretty much the idea of America, but on the internet. Keep the idea of America alive in all aspects of life.

I have been aware that this was going to happen for a while. This needs to stay, we don't need more corruption
