(story time with Calvin) I finally got around to looking at the old plant in Rockford. The plant will suffice. It was a coal power plant but the buildings can be easily modified and rebuilt to house the experimental Breeder reactor. The unused parts of the plants can be used for manufacturing and storage for import-export. I will be going through with the buy although I might have an issue here. I am not sure if it will cause problems. When visiting the plant I noticed an alarming reading on my Geiger counter about 60 microsieverts above normal. The strange part being the plant has no record of ever housing radioactive substances. Something else happened while I was by the turbines. I don't know how to explain it. I heard something while I was trying to enter the turbine room. Something or someone was in their creating immense noise. I then had to leave as my dosimeter alarm had started blaring. I blocked off the highly contaminated areas. Further areas outside the plant may be affected. The public must not know of this. I am going to inform my buddy at the US DoE of the situation and figure out the next plan of action.
