Ight.... so my mic is destroyed after 2 Years of usage (threw it around a lot), it was the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma edition and it was a really decent mic.

I need a new mic that has good sound quality and doesn't pick up a lot of background noise... if I can't find one I will probably just buy the kraken again...

    Anyone got any recommendations?

Well I'v been using the Turtle Beach PX3 for the past few years without too many issues, some wires are wrecked and some pieces fell off but it's still in working condition and a good quality mic. It's wireless and even has options to be used on Xbox, playstation and PC. Back then it was about 100$ but I imagine it's much less now.

So are you looking for an entirely new headset that comes with a mic attached? If so, I would recommend the HyperX Cloud line of headsets. There is the Cloud and the Cloud II. Both are great headsets with amazing quality for the price. I have had the Cloud II version for about 3 years now and they are still working like new. Also as an added bonus, the headset is extremely comfortable and I can wear it for hours on end. However, if you are looking for just a mic, the Blue Snowball is great for its price. Here are links for all of the items listed:
    - HyperX Cloud
    - HyperX Cloud II
    - Blue Snowball Mic

Just get a Blue Yeti. No issues there, and it sounds pretty good. Much better than the Cracken, I used to own those, the headphones went out and the mic was done for at that point. I recommend the Blue Yeti, I have had no issues, just plug it in, and it works.

Well, cheap I recommend any of the Sades headsets.
If you're gonna buy one, just get the Kraken again. That thing is the shit

I would get a blue snowball. Its cheap af, and it doesn't have headset feedback like headset mics do. Its a condenser mic that sounds great for the price. Comes with stand and is USB. No reason not to pick it up.

If you're looking for even cheaper, go for the Blue Snowball ICE. It's practically the same exact microphone but cheaper. The quality is very similar.

Blue Yeti mics are on cheap on Amazon because of Prime Day. They're 90$ (Except for the black one, oddly enough.)

One question; I already have a microphone on my headset. Is it worth upgrading to Blue Yeti? And if I do, will I need to buy a pop filter or some shit?

"Nah" to "Is is worth upgrading?" or to "Will I need a pop filter?"

    Or both?
