DENIED Finally's Admin Application

I play with finally almost 90% of the time he is on the server, we are fairly close internet friends and have gotten to know eachother pretty well through chronet in the past few years. However I will not let my friendship with finally influence my opinion on this application, I only mention it to show that I do indeed know Steve better than most of the others that will most likely comment on this application, unnamed others. I'd like to point out that he has no bans on record, this is because finally understands the rules thouroughly even behind the closed doors of our base and when people have made him angry. He has responded to them maturely and fairly without letting emotions affect his judgement. I believe finally would make a fair, active and intelligent contribution to the chronet community staff, which is why I give him a strong. +1

After speaking, playing, and interacting with Finally for a while, I can safely say a definite +1.

• Very informative and helpful
• Lots of experience
• Abides by the rules and possesses a keen knowledge of them
• Generally enjoyable to be around
• Active nearly every day

 

+1 from me you have always been a well respected member here and you do good for the community in how you help/handle yourself and others.

Your are active I guess you can say. -1 for me because you don't have the qualitys of an admin and you intend to troll a lot.

 

A strong -1. Player would definitely have a strong bias towards people he likes and doesn't like.




This is a video that the player in question uploaded showed him celebrating when another player he didn't like was given a permanent ban. I honestly find that quite immature, if you don't like someone that's fine, don't be an asshole about it. For the most part this video shows the people minding their own business, doing their "funeral" and Finally would start conflict with them. It's pretty immature to constantly make fun/ harass people over one of their friends being banned.

Less than two weeks ago him and another player that has an admin application up spammed OOC chat with the words "banned for toxic behavior." Though this didn't bother me, some people on the server were definitely annoyed by it, yet he continued to do so.

I'm going to say neutral because he has good qualities as an admin but is some cases his friends influence him to make some trolly decisions. Also I'm not seeing much RP but I haven't been on lately so I'll have to see. (Will change my mind if shown improvement)

 

+1 You know, this guy is probably one of the best guys for the job... Knows the rules and is NOT afraid to point out to you that you are doing something wrong. Every experience ive had with him has been calm and he never has raised his voice. He lets you know what was wrong, and gives you a chance to tell your side of the story. His friends do kind of influence him to do alittle bit of trolly things, but they are NEVER anything that harms anyone in anyway.

 

Wasn't the funeral essentially a joke in the first place?
