Halloween is over and our ears can take a break from the thunder on rp_downtown_halloween (Until Christmas that is, then you will need to get used the Christmas music)

The server will now be using rp_downtown_chronet_v2 which includes a few changes and optimization.
Once again, thanks to Cookie Monster and Flux for their work on the map

Along with the map change comes a few other updates as well as 40 player slots!
After gathering some test data over the weekend (In which the server was full a couple of times) it seems that the box should be able to handle 40 player slots without a problem.

Our slightly belated Halloween update is now out!

Recovery system!
This is the start of a system which hopefully phases out parts of NLR and makes it easier to administrate.
When you "die" and respawn at the hospital you will be in a state of recovery.
Until your 5 minutes of recovery are up, you may not return to your place of death.
While in recovery you can't do certain things such as equip weapons or arrest people.
More updates regarding recovery can be seen here.

Player customization!
Other players will be able to see customization's made to your model colour and physgun colour!

UPDATE #3: Server back online.

Due to the server being based in New York, the datacenter the server is hosted in is being effected by hurricane Sandy.

The server host does not have an ETA on when everything will be online again, but the hurricane has caused the entire datacenter to be evacuated and shut down for the time being.

Will inform you all when I get any updates.

UPDATE #1: Datacenter seems to be back online and I can connect to server. Lite Roleplay is now online again (Cannot guarantee anything though as it might go down unexpectedly again)

UPDATE #2: Anddd it's gone. Datacenter offline again.

There is currently a exploit which allows people to crash any Garry's Mod server with a single console command.

Until Garry fixes this with an update (Which will most likely will be very soon) or a fix is found that I can apply, the server will be locked.

I will check if any progress has been made in the morning (About 7 hours from now)
